Construction Department:

Stone Mason's Tender

Essential Job Functions:

-Mix Mortar
-Set-up scaffolding/ladders
-Cut, shape and place stones
-Palletize stone
-Assist Masons with their needs in order to complete each job in a detailed, swift manner
-Keep tools and mixing station clean and organized throughout the day (shovel, hoe, wheel barrel, mixer, buckets, etc.)

Qualifications:

-1-2 years of residential or commercial contsruction experience preferred
-General and practical knowledge of measuring tools, power tools, and equipment utilized in the stone industry
-Willingness to adapt to and accept constructive feedback and implement necessary corrections in a timely manner
-Ability to wear Personal Protective Equipment (i.e. eye glasses, noise-reducing equipment, waterproof gear, steel toe shoes, and a respirator)
-Ability to push, pull, and carry materials 50-100 lbs. and prolonged standing
-Able to provide and encourage positive attitude of cooperation and collaboration with management and other team members
-Flexibility and willingness to assume new duties/responsibilities as necessary to respond to project/production needs
-Must be willing to travel which could include overnight stays
-Must have reliable transportation and a valid driver’s license
-High School diploma or GED required

Stone Mason

Essential Job Functions:

  • Cut, shape, fit and place stones using stone industry tooling such as power saws, grinders, drills, hand tools, torches, etc.
  • Arrange and store material properly to avoid damage to stonework in the yard and for delivery
  • Work from heights (ladders, scaffolding) performing physical tasks that may occur in awkward positions
  • Transport materials, tools, equipment and machines to installation sites
  • Use of general and practical knowledge of measuring tools, power tools, and equipment utilized in the stone industry
  • Actively wear Personal Protective Equipment (i.e. eye glasses, noise-reducing equipment, waterproof gear, steel toe shoes and a respirator) dependent on work area
  • Push, pull, and carry materials weighing 50-100 lbs. or more and prolonged standing
  • Willingness to travel, which could including overnight stays
  • Flexibility and willingness to assume new duties/responsibilities as necessary to respond to fluctuating work hours driven by project/production needs
  • Adapt to and accept constructive feedback and implement necessary corrections in a timely manner
  • Provide and encourage positive attitude of cooperation and collaboration with management and other team members
  • Work with minimal supervision and with good attention to detail
  • Work overtime (during week and/or weekends) to meet business needs

  • Employee may be exposed to extreme weather conditions while performing the duties of this job
  • Employee is occasionally exposed to wet and/or humid conditions; moving mechanical parts; high, precarious places, extreme cold or heat and high noise levels

Qualifications:

  • 3-4 years of stone mason’s tender experienced preferred
  • 1-2 years of residential or commercial construction experience preferred
  • 1-2 years of experience working on high-end construction projects
  • General and practical knowledge of measuring tools, power tools, and equipment utilized in the stone industry
  • Ability to push, pull, and carry materials 50-100 lbs. or more and prolonged standing
  • Reliable transportation and a valid driver’s license
  • High School diploma or GED required

Class B Truck Driver with Crane Certification

Essential Job Functions:
• Understand that safety is at the foundation of everything
we do and model the appropriate behaviors surrounding
this core value.
• Perform daily inspections and execute preventative
maintenance on equipment as needed
• Operate various types of cranes to move or lift materials.
• Rig equipment, materials and other machinery using
slings, chains or other rigging gear as per OSHA
requirements.
• Set up crane for heavy lifts.
• Able to safely operate heavy equipment (forklifts, skid
steers, excavators, etc.)
• Read and understand load charts
• Plan and execute critical lifts
• Understand hand signals or radio commands as to move
or control the crane properly.
• CDL Class B/II license is required.

Qualifications:
• Minimum of 1 year experience with crane operations
• Ability to work with minimal supervision and good
attention to detail
• General and practical knowledge of measuring tools,
power tools, and equipment utilized in the stone industry
• Willingness to adapt to and accept constructive feedback
and implement necessary corrections in a timely manner
• Ability to wear Personal Protective Equipment (i.e. eye
glasses, noise-reducing equipment, waterproof gear, steel
toe shoes and a respirator)
